The Children's International Peace Choir

The choir, founded in September, 1989 is a not-for-profit organization, managed entirely by volunteers. It is sponsored by The Children's International Learning Centre, 189 King William St., Hamilton, Ontario.

The choir has had as many as 50 voices, ages 7-14 representing many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds from the Hamilton area. Their music reflects their mission to promote peace, love, respect, unity and understanding among people.

As children grow and move on, the number in the choir changes - currently it is in a rebuilding phase.

When the choir is reconstituted it will be available September to June to be of service to this community for full concerts, or to perform in conjunction with other benevolent or civic functions.
