pf19. Rex once was a pilot
For those of you who don't happen to know "Foggy, Foggy Dew"
Hear my version here: Rex once was a pilot.
Rex once was a pilot. He flew a great big plane. He worked for old Uncle Sa-am.
Then he became a walker (though some said it was a shame), singing,
"I rejoice to be just who I am!"
He was a walker in the winter time & in the summer, to-oo,
because all that he had left of his vision that was clear
was a very, very foggy, foggy view!
Now he's binocular, bifocal with two partly plastic eyes
and vivid colors thrill him once aga-ain.
But still he is a walker, with his head up in the skies, singing,
"I rejoice to be just who I am!"
He is a walker in the winter time & in the summer, to-oo,
and he thinks about the time when he had to learn to cope
with a very, very foggy, foggy view!
