fdS23. Doin', doin', doin'!
I stole this tune from the wondeful Greek Gerakina (yair-a-keen-a). I
used to use it as a Greek lullaby when my son was still small enough to
hold until he assured me he was really ready for serious sleep. I also
sang it (in Greek) for my Greek plastic surgeon while he was
straightening out my crooked fingers.
Hear the first verse here.
Just becau-au-ause we can, doesn't me-ean we always shou-ou-ould!
Just because it's fun, doesn't mean that it is good! O no!
Chorus:With all of our doin', doin', doin',
let's ponder well just what it is we might ruin!
Let's ponder well just what it is we might ruin
with all of our doin', doin', doin'!
Even cle-e-ever jokes, don't a-always hide the dir-ir-irt!
Even when we laugh, it doesn't always heal the hurt! O no!
