SYMPTOMS OF FOBROMYALGIA

People with fibromyalgia will not experience all of these symptoms all of the time, but most people with fibromyalgia will experience many of these symptoms much of the time. These symptoms can include:

  • Dizziness or unsteadiness (vertigo)
  • Painful or burning muscles
  • Nausea or cramps
  • Painful menstruation(dysmenorrhea)
  • Pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Jaw Pain
  • Tennis elbow
  • Irritated throat
  • Chest wall or ribcage pain
  • Memory loss (blank memory)
  • Lack of concentration
  • Raw, irritable or dry eyes
  • Low grade fever
  •  

  • Numbness and tingling (paresthesia)
  • Mottling of skin or rash
  • Painful feet
  • Rapid heart beat (tachycardia)
  • Sensitivity to the environment (heat, cold, sun, weather changes, noise, foods)
  • Lack of balance
  • Frequent dropping of objects (clumsiness)
  • Severe headaches and/or migraines
  • Blurred vision
  • Subjective swelling in extremities (ie. The feeling of swelling with little or no actual swelling being present.)
