After the applause had died down, and all the Questerians had gone back to looking at the vendor's tables, Jason Nesmith, who was once Commander Peter Quincy Taggart on the hit TV series, Galaxy Quest, has discovered some noises coming from outside.
After he had walked out of the convention center, and into the parking lot, Jason had discovered a wide-load semi heading towards the Protector's command module.
"HEY!", yelled a confused Jason."WHO'S YOUR BOSS?"
"I'M THEIR BOSS,MR. NESMITH!", answered a voice coming from behind Jason.
He'd turned around, and discovered that it was Vince McMahon, Chairman of the WWF,who, then, said, "My name is Vince McMahon, and I've got a bussiness offering for you."
"Yeah?", asked a reluctant Jason."Like what?"
"Well, Jason, I'm starting a new television network.", answered a convincing Vince."I'm calling to it XSCI-FI,and I was looking for a show to launch it on opening day."
"Don't tell me.Let me guess.", said Jason, with one eyebrow raised. "That's when you've stumbled onto Galaxy Quest."
"Bingo.", answered a smilling Vince.
Suddenly, a voice from behind yelled, "WE'VE GOT IT ON THE TRUCK,MR. MCMAHON!"
"OKAY,THEN!", yelled Vince."TAKE IT TO THE UNIVERSAL STUDIOS THEME PARK!WE'LL MEET YOU THERE LATER!"
As soon as the semi, with the module on it, had left, Jason asked, "Excuse me, Vince, but how will you explain the great, big hole behind me?"
After he had looked at the hole behind Jason, Vince answered, "Oh, that's easy.The module, that was supposed to be driven into building, had broken free from the semi, and smashed into the center."
Then suddenly, a familiar voice, from behind Jason, said, "Sounds good to me."
Jason had turned, and discovered that Lalairi was standing behind him.
"Oh, yeah.I've forgot.", said Jason, before he had turned towards Vince."Vince McMahon, this is our new found friend, Lalairi."
"Oh, yes.", said Vince, while shaking Lalairi's hand."Alan Lalairi.A pleasure to meet you."
"Alan Lalairi?", asked a confused Jason.
"The only way I could think of to get him into the Screen Actor's Guild.", answered Vince, as he had shrugged his shoulders."So, what do you say, Jason?Deal?"
"You bet.", answered a happy Jason."There's one more question.What about the XFL?"
"Well, after all the press and hype, it didn't happen.", answered Vince."So, anyway, I'll see you and the others on the set tomorrow."
"You bet, Vince.", said a still-happy Jason."Oh, one more thing."
"My lawyers are already putting together the money to pay for the damages to the center, Jason.", answered Vince, who was getting into his limo.
"Just asking, Vince.", said a now-embarressed Jason.
A few months later, XSCI-FI has hit the air, with a series entitled, 'GALAXY QUEST:THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.'
And, after it's first few weeks, it had became a ratings blockbuster, thanks to Vince McMahon.
