A big part of our struggle is keeping the capitalists' grubby little paws off our national health programs -- at least for those of us who HAVE a national health program... Various organizations worldwide, such as the Doctors' Reform Society of Australia and Ontario's own Medical Reform Group are our watchdogs, guarding against further erosion. The Physicians for a National Health Program in the U.S. however, are struggling against the vested interests of corporate Health Management Organizations (HMOs) and their ability to skew public 'debate' against the very interests of U.S. citizens.
