Child Connect
Child
Connect is a joint venture of the Hamilton CommunityNet, the St.
Leonard's Society and Children's Aid Societies in Hamilton. Through
this program, refurbished computers with an Internet connection
are given to children in the care of Children's Aid Societies and youth
at risk, in the City of Hamilton. The goal of the program is to ensure
that these children can use the computer and the Internet to build their
computer skills and provide them with the tools they need to be successful
in their school projects, research and homework assignments.
