The following are instructions on how to manually set up your
Internet connection using the Internet Connection Wizard. It is
recommended that you print a copy of this page for future reference.
Click on your START button (the cirled Windows
'flag' on the bottom left corner of the screen), then click the mouse on
Connect To in the Start Menu. A window will open, showing 'no
connections'.
Click on Setup a connection to the
Internet and another window will open.
Click Setup a Dial-Up Connection.
Type in 905-540-8968 for the field Phone
Number.
In lower case, enter your User ID (aa000) in the
User
Name field and your password in the
Password field.
Click the checkbox that says remember
password.
Then click Next.
Enter HWCN into the Connection Name
field, and
if the option is available, check the box marked "Allow Others to use
this connection." Click on CONNECT.
Note: Vista does not save the connection until you
have successfully connected. If you have your phone line connected,
and the test works, you are done. Click Finish. If you get a
message that says "Connectivity Test unsuccessful", click where it
says Setup the connection anyway. Then click Close.
