VELO-CITY:TLC, Hamilton Rail Trail, and Fortinos

TLC intervention helped secure a link on the future rail trail as a new Fortinos parking lot encroached in West Hamilton. With the help of the ward councillor, city staff and Fortinos, the trail was built into the design.

Fortinos had their grand opening November 25, 2004, sans promised bike racks at entrances - they promise to install them "as soon as they arrive." For now, cyclists "make-do."

UPDATE January 2005 - promised bike racks installed.
