Due to the success of last year's dance season (thanks Hamilton Country Dancers—you rock! (or should that be—you swing!?)) we won't be selling subscriptions this year. So just come to the dances, pay your admission at the door, and enjoy. See you there!

2004 - 2005 Season Update

We will be selling annual subscriptions at the September dance. We strongly urge you to consider pre-paying for the four regular dances (September, November, January and March)—$40 for the season. This will greatly assist us in planning for the upcoming dances and will help ensure the survival of the series. Thank you.

2003 - 2004 Season Update

Please be sure to note the change of location for this season's dances. Beginning with the September, 2003 dance, we will be dancing at Erskine Presbyterian Church, 19 Pearl Street North, which is two blocks west of our previous location.

You'll also note that we've scaled back this season to five regular dances plus the Fall Dance Weekend, which is being organized and run by Steven Nagy and Wendy Goodwin.

This year's Hamilton Country Dancers co-ordinators are Nora Gaskin and Renate Manthei.

Admission Fee Increase

Effective the March 1st dance, regular adult admission will increase to $10.00 (Canadian).

January, 2003 Dance Cancelled

Please note that there will be no dance in January, 2003. Regular dances resume on February 1st.

Potluck Before the December, 2002 Dance

Join us at the church before the December 7th dance for a potluck. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the theme for the dinner is Chinese/Asian food—bring your favourtie stir-fry or rice dish. Or noodles, or whatever you fancy. (Desserts are welcome, too). We plan to eat and socialize before the dance begins at 8 p.m. Call or e-mail Renate, 905-523-0599 for more information.

Spring 2002 Update

The co-ordinating committee of the Hamilton Country Dancers has made a number of significant decisions which take effect with the September, 2002 dance.

• Dances have been changed from the second Friday to the first Saturday of the month.
• There will no longer be a "Contra Basics" teaching session before the dance.
• Dances will now begin at 8:00 p.m. and finish at 11:00 p.m.
