For sixteen years, Back Up & Push has been the house band for the Hamilton Country Dancers. Performing at numerous events in the Hamilton-Wentworth Region and beyond, it has established a reputation for more than just its excellent contradance playing. With a repertoire which focuses on the traditional music of the British Isles and French Canada, band members enjoy exploring and performing varied musical styles. Back Up & Push is frequently heard at community-group and business-sponsored events, keeping our musical heritage alive in an approachable and enjoyable fashion.
