Miscellaneous Info:

1. Removal of boats from club premises (ie. for outside competitions) - only on prior approval of "Racing Co-ordinator".

This means that the club races get priority.

Authority:  this was a decision of the club Executive in 2008.

2. Women's Helm - trophy to a boat with a woman at the helm for all races (can be a skipper, first mate or crew).

Winning skippers from previous years, and their boat mates, will not be eligible to win prizes.

3. Burlington Sailing Club - will be invited to join us in all our Albacore races this year. However,

they cannot win prizes or trophies, except for the "Hamilton Open Race" and the "Turkey Regatta

    (not a trophy race)".

4. Boat Adopters - can pick their boat only for Trophy races.

5. We will be calling "start line infractions" this year. This will mean an immediate sound signal after the

start signal, and an immediate raising of the "Individual Recall" flag or "General Recall" flag.

The boats with the violations will have 4 minutes to circle around the outside small buoy of the start line

and start again. Failure to start again will mean disqualification for that race. Once the offenders

are correctly started. The recall flags will be lowered.

"start line infractions" means that any part of the boat or crew are over the start line.
