- Child-friendly environment. Children are welcome in workshops. There's lots of carpeted space, nooks and crannies, and art supplies will be available. Mind the stairs, elevators and quiet study areas, please.

AFTERNOON
1pm-5pm - Nonviolent Direct Action/Civil Disobedience (with Matthew Behrens of Toronto Action for Social Change)
This workshop will also address legal and facilitation/mediation skill areas. All are welcome and encouraged to attend whether or not you see yourself "risking arrest." There is a great introductory booklet to civil disobedience available online through www.hwcn.org/link/hasc/red.html
Rooms will be available in the afternoon for those who prefer to continue working on skill areas addressed in the morning sessions, instead of nonviolent direct action.

Click here for a map of the McMaster Campus. Parking lots near the Sterling entrance (from the east, take King Street West into Westdale; make a right on Sterling) are close to the Student Centre.
Bus: From the east, take the 5C-West Hamilton bus. It runs right through McMaster University. Get off at the stop after the yellow parking kiosks. Walk straight - the Student Centre is the yellow brick building straight ahead. You can also take the 5B-Main West CNIB or 52 Dundas buses.
