Basis of Unity for Protests at Red Hill Valley
Agreed upon by campers Friday, July 4, 2003
- Our attitude will be one of openness, friendliness,
and respect towards all people we encounter.
- We will use no violence, verbal or physical, toward any person.
- We will not damage any property.
- We will not bring or use any drugs or alcohol
other than for medical purposes.
- We will carry no weapons.
- We will make decisions by consensus
all demonstrators, etc. are asked to abide to these decisions. This is not meant as judgement of others, but a basis of unity and accountability at Red Hill Valley protests.
Directions to Albright Road. - From the QEW - exit at Hwy 20/Centennial Parkway - Go south on 20 to King Street East - turn Right (West) and continue to Mount Albion. Turn left (south) on Mount Albion Road, turn right (west) on Albright. Park at the end of Albright at the Red Hill Trail.
(There are other access points to Red Hill Valley, but Albright is where the continuing occupation is taking place.)
To get to the east end from downtown Hamilton go to Main Street and take a King Bus or the 5E Delaware - (get a transfer from the driver) - From the King Bus, transfer to the #11 Parkdale at Queenston and Parkdale. Transfer to the 11 Parkdale from the Delaware at Mount Albion.
