The red hill video collective* is working to bring together the video record of resistance to the destruction of hamilton's red hill valley. RHVC will pool our resources to make a data base of available video from the struggle, as well as support eachother with tech and moral support as we create film documentaries about ongoing efforts to protect red hill valley

In the last thirty days footage has been
screened at the Six Nations Reserve, Oshweken, The University of
Guelph and currently at the You Me Gallery at 330 James St. N, until
March 21, 2004.
In the past six months screenings were given in Burlington,
Ont., Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto.
Footage/reporting shot by
the Collective has been used by the CBC(English/French), footage fresh
from the Valley has been screened at Mcmaster University two hours
after it was shot.
Over fifty copies of Red Hill stuff have been
provided to individuals to lobby for support at the Six Nations
councils, meetings of clan mothers, Red Hill Video has also been
screened for small groups in British Columbia, and Albany, New York.
At a recent screening, The Red Hill Video collective received
five hundred dollars from the University of Guelph towards the legal
defence of the Red Hill Valley
Currently the collective is producing
a documentary giving an overview of the overall story and the recent
events in the Valley, meanwhile continuing to cover events as they
unfold
