Help Create a Valley Archive
Have you ever photographed in the Red Hill Valley?
Did you point your lens at a Great Horned Owl or a Carolina wren? Or were you charmed by, and anxious to capture, this or that vista.or the silvery creek as it gently curved around a bend?
Or did you snap family and friends against a wooded background?
And what stories do you think need to be remembered, whatever the destruction that is visited upon this special place?
The Friends of Red Hill, in conjunction with You Me Gallery (330 James. St. North), want to collect Valley-related photography and written material.
We plan to first exhibit as much of it as we can and then deposit the archive in the Special Collections Department of the Hamilton Public Library. Since we can't pay, all contributions will have to be voluntary.
If you have photography (or video or film) related to the Valley, or written materil and want it to be part of the archive, please get in touch with Bryce Kanbara, proprietor of You Me Gallery at (905) 523-7754.
