New
Neighbourhood Group Fights to Stop Expressway
Residents
of the neighbourhoods near Greenhill Avenue and Mt. Albion
Road have recently formed an organization called the Red
Hill Neighbourhood Association. The group has issued a flyer
against the proposed construction of the Red Hill Expressway
and called a Public Forum for Thursday, June 12 at Elizabeth
Bagshaw School (located at the far west end of Albright
Road, off Mt. Albion) starting at 7:30 pm. Guest speakers
at the Forum include Lynda Lukasik, Dr. David Pengelly and
Tom Muir.
