Mission Statement: The United Nations Association in Canada builds bridges of knowledge and understanding that link all Canadians with people and nations of the world.   Through the United Nations System, we share in the quest for peace, human rights, equitable and sustainable development and the elimination of poverty.

The association supports a family of United Nations organizations such as UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Environment Program that are international in scope but relevant to each community and individual.
