  • Collecting Christmas Stamps ...by Patricia Prevey, CPC #971...reprint of an article taken from a speech delivered to the Calgary Philatelic Society. Excellent article that describes the many aspects of collecting Christmas stamps.

  • Correction for Anguilla . . . by Ann Keniston, CPC # 1607 . . . Ann points out that two Anguilla Christmas stamp variations were omitted from the ATA Reference book by Everleigh Foster. #405 and #406 were similar in design to the listed #400 and #401 but were overprinted.

  • Christmas Checklist (1991-2002) Part 6 ... by Patricia Prevey, CPC #971, edited by Christina Howland Stitt, CPC #810... St. Lucia to Togo are listed by Scott #s and description.

  • "Bob's Column" ...by Robert A. Haslewood, CPC #860 . . .A Tale of Two Christmas Cards . . . Bob describes another of his Christmas collecting interests old or unusual Christmas Cards. The first card mailed Dec. 20, 1886 was mailed from St. Paul, Minnesota to Miss Jennie Simpson residing in Elora, Ontario. The card was printed by Wolff Hagelberg in Berlin, Germany.

        The second card was recovered from a fire and mailed Dec. 17, 1948 from St. John's, Newfoundland           to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Card was The Evening Telegram's Christmas Card to convey Christmas           greetings to its correspondents.

        Both cards and covers are illustrated.

He poses some new questions to readers asking about a Yule Log ride, the Yule Goat, Yule Cat and Yule Log Resort. A recipe for a Yule Log is included.

The invitation to membership in the Christmas Philatelic Club is open to any Christmas topical philatelist who is seriously interested in associating with those who collect likewise.

Current dues are $15 per year for persons living in North America. Other Countries: $22.00 (US funds). Send an international money order in US dollars.
