Instead of using the new designs, the USPS will use their current inventory of 1999 holiday stamps. 

• "Christmas Philatelic Club Auction"...Mary Turner, CPC #720 describes 117 lots of Christmas philatelic items including stamps, Brazil letter cards, postal stationery,   Santa items, postmarks, pictorial cancels, Santa reply letters, miscellaneous items, used telegrams from Portugal and philatelic publications. The invitation to membership in the Christmas Philatelic Club is open to any Christmas topical philatelist who is seriously interested in associating with those who collect likewise.

Current dues are $15 per year for persons living in North America. Other Countries: $22.00 (US funds).
