Column - Philatelic Christmas Card" . . . by Robert Haslewood, CPC #860. An
interesting philatelic Chrismas card (era 1940s) is shown and raises several questions.
The front of the card has a Christmas greeting and a ship with a 5 cent used Canadian
stamp affixed. Inside the card another wish for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
with 8 stamps affixed which seem to have no rhyme or reason to their selection. Robert
asks readers who have information about this card to contact him.

the annual cover contest. The winning entry was featured on the December 2005 journal, The
Texas Philatelist.
