Scenes Around the Hotel |
APS STAMPSHOW was held at DeVos
Convention Centre, a short walk along the river. Here are some of the scenes we passed
each day on our walks to the show. |
|
The First Day Ceremony of the Libraries Stamp was held at the Gerald Ford
Museum which was located just across the river
from the Convention Centre. |

Inside the hotel was very grand.
|

Reflections - On one of my walks, I snapped this
picture,
one of my favorites! It's a reflection of the building
behind me. |

A Drama College in the Grand Rapids area was doing a movie shoot at the hotel.
This shows a broader scene of the 'Reflections' picture.

The concierge took our picture just before we were about to leave. Kathy, Joan
& Mary.
|
Meijer Gardens |
On the way home,
Mary, Joan and I stopped at the Meijer Sculpture Gardens |

At the time I took this picture when we were on a shuttle tour, I was not happy
the man was in the picture...but now I realize he sets off this picture rather nicely. |

I didn't realize until I got home
that I had taken a picture of myself
as well as the donkey cart. :-) |
