Minutes
November 26, 2007

1. Fifteen members present, Jean Burbidge chair.

2. The chair noted that our membership numbers have increased from the
Sept. to the Nov. membership list and read a thank you letter from
Chris Zabel for the $600 COG-H presented to him for writing the organic
newsletters for the market.

3. Holland Bolster presented a treasurer’s report. Our present balance
is approx. $500 with no outstanding bills.
Carrie Watson submitted a breakdown of the funds COG-H presented to
support the Kerr Village Organic Market this past summer and fall.
Jean Burbidge, Holland Bolster, Alvaro Venturelli and any other
interested party will meet at 7 p.m. on January 7th to project a budget
for 2008.

4. Elections
Chair- Al Burbidge nominated Jean Burbidge, seconded by Don Brown.
Acclaimed.
Treasurer-Don Brown nominated Holland Bolster, seconded by Keith
Kuntz. Kerry Brookes nominated Alvaro Venturelli, seconded by Harry
Marshall. Each nominee had a chance to speak to the group. Alvaro
Venturellli was elected.
Membership Secretary- Alvaro nominated Kevin Hamilton, seconded by
Keith. Kevin was acclaimed.
COG National and Ontario Chapters Rep. Pat Kozowyk nominated Carrie Ann
Watson, seconded by Kerry Brookes. Carrie Ann was acclaimed.

5. In order to ensure that everyone remains informed of COG-H
activities Keith Kuntz assisted by Howard Wills will phone members who
do not have emails. Jean will email an ‘emails folks’ list to Howard.

6. January COG-H meeting at 322 8th Concession Rd. E.  East Flamborough
on Monday January 21, at 7:30. Business meeting and Tony Nunes will
speak about Biochar.
COG-H potluck supper at 322 8th Concession Road East December 7th at 6
pm.
