COG-H plans for the rest of 2008:

June through October, COG-H will have a regular presence at the Kerr Village Organic Farmers’ Market, Oakville, as well as supporting with cash. Let Jean know if you are willing to help out and when. Market starts mid-June.

As well, Carrie is discussing with Slow Food Hamilton the possibility of
hosting an event featuring food and Margaret Webb with her book “Apples
to Oysters”. June 22 or 29 are possible dates for this event.

July or August,  Carrie is looking into COG-H co-sponsoring a film night with organic popcorn. Probably in Oakville this time, other venues possible for other times.

Also a list of EFAO summer tours will be circulated by the email list. Taking advantage of these allows farmers to take less time from their work. It also fits with our philosophy of working with like-minded organizations.
