87 Ontario Youth Awarded Scholarships
At Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario Awards Ceremony,
Sponsored By the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario
$119,000 distributed to Ontario Youth!
At a special awards ceremony on Sunday, October 23, 87 young people from Boys & Girls
Clubs across Ontario received post-secondary school scholarships to assist them with their
educational goals. The Hon. Mary Anne Chambers, Minister of Children and Youth Services,
addressed the recipients. Dr. James J. Rice, Boys and Girls Clubs Alumnus, gave the keynote
address while Cabral Richards of The Score Network performed the duties of Master of
Ceremonies..

for Clubs across Canada after 30 Years
Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC)
is pleased to announce the launch of a new public identity for its member clubs across Canada. This fresh,
new image was created to reinforce the relevance of Boys and Girls Clubs today in tackling many of the
critical issues facing children, youth and families in Canada including child poverty, health, youth education
and employment, youth violence, substance abuse and youth sexuality.

Ontario Youth To Be Named 2004 Scholarship Recipients At Boys and
Girls Clubs of Ontario Awards Ceremony, Sponsored By the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Ontario - $114,000 to be distributed to
Ontario Youth!
At
a special awards ceremony on Sunday, November 7th, 76 young people
from Boys and Girls Clubs across Ontario will receive post-secondary
school scholarships. The Honourable Mary Anne Chambers, Minister of
Training, Colleges and Universities, will address the recipients while
Anwar Knight of Global Television will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Youth Council to conduct educational tour for MPPS

a special event on Tuesday May 11, 2004 Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario's
Provincial Youth Council will host a Virtual Club Tour at Queen's
Park. This is an informal event designed to introduce the new government
to the various programs offered by Boys and Girls Clubs across Ontario.
