Directions to Class and Ritual

Be sure to check our schedule page for announcements of special locations for certain rituals.
We also recommend that you subscribe to the Hamilton Pagans Yahoo Group (mailing list) to receive last-minute updates on times and locations.

Our Location:We are now gathering for class and rituals year round at Eco House - a historical home on 2 acres of land, converted into an eco-awareness center located at 22 Veevers Drive in East Hamilton. Enter from Ambrose Street, up the stone steps to the side door by the deck.

Rituals are held outdoors on the Eco House grounds during the warmer months (unless the weather is bad), and indoors the rest of the time. Classes may be held indoors or outdoors in the summer, at the discretion of priesthood. Indoor facilities, including washrooms and a kitchen, are available at all times. There are a few local restaurants around the corner for those who feel like going out for dinner between class and ritual.

The Eco House website has comprehensive directions and maps for getting to the site, including bus routes. A map of the area may be found here.

Please do not contact Eco House or Green venture about W.C.C. activities as they merely make the space available to us. Eco House and Green Venture are in no way associated or affiliated with the Wiccan Church of Canada - should you have any questions or comments, feel free to e-mail us at hamiltonwcc@hwcn.org.

Smokers: Green Venture does not allow smoking on the deck and has a designated smoking area located at the gazebo off to the side of the house. Temple staff or temple regulars will be able to show you where this is.

Accessibility considerations: Regrettably, all entrances to Eco House involve stairs of some kind. We're sorry if this prevents some from attending. Our selection of locations is limited by our budget, but we are always willing to look at suggestions for more accessible locations. Also please be aware that in winter Ambrose drive is one of the last roads to be plowed after a major snowfall. This could result in difficulties parking, even several days after a storm. In the event of bad weather, please check this website or the Hamilton Pagans Yahoo Group for notices and updates regarding cancellation.
