| Clothing is dictated by the weather. In the heat of the summer, shorts, T-shirts, white soled non-slip sneakers, a cap, and sunscreen is the norm. In the early and late part of the season when the weather can be a bit cooler and wet, jeans, sweaters and windbreakers will keep you warm. A two-piece raincoat is worn in the rain by our more fanatic sailors. Sailing or weight-lifting gloves are helpful. It is a good idea to bring a change of clothes since getting wet from spray is all part of the fun of sailing on windy nights which you will soon realize are too few and far between.
The Club supplies a personal flotation device (PFD), approved by Transport Canada, which must be worn at all times on the water.
