Installing Files

Once you have uploaded files, you will need to install them. By installing a file, it will move it to the directory you select. The directory will be the directory in which the public can access your files.  It should be under the "/Information/group/direcotry_name" directory. A link to this can be found under your home directory (/ip###) when you type the "g files" command in lynx.

If you are responsible for more than one home page, you will have access to more than one directory. So make sure you choose the correct directory to install to.

Installing Files

1. Highlight the file you want to install.
2. Press [i] for install.
3. If more than one directory is listed, highlight the appropriate destination directory.
4. Press <Enter> to install the file.
