End each home page file with a line indicating the date of your last revisions, the author, and a link that enables the user to send e-mail directly to the IP. This e-mail link is important, as users want to send you feedback on the effectiveness of your home page. Their questions and comments will let you know what users want to see in your on-line information in the future.

The following format is suggested:

Revised April 1, 1996, by John Doe. Send comments to
<A HREF= "mailto:your_IP_alias@hwcn.org ">your_IP_alias@hwcn.org</A>

The e-mail link can be used anywhere else in your home page files and index, if you think it is necessary - it is not limited to the author line.

The <HR> horizontal rule works well before the author line by separating your author information from your document text.
